Classroom Support Worker

Hourly pay of £8.78 (this rate includes holiday pay)

Are you looking for part-time work during term time?

University Academy Keighley are looking to employ two classroom support workers.  You will work for three or four 50 minute lessons a week during tern time only, on a casual basis.

Hours of work are either –

  1. Tuesday 9.50 to 10.40, Wednesday 11.05 to 11.55 and Thursday 9.50 to 10.40

or

  1. Monday 13.15 to 14.05, Tuesday 14.05 to 14.55, Wednesday 13.15 to 14.04 and Thursday 13.15 to 14.05.

 

We are looking for people who are able to start immediately and would ask them to commit until 21 December 2018 as a minimum and preferably until 8 March 2019.

Duties include:-

  1. Assisting the teacher in setting up and clearing the classroom for lessons
  2. Copying and collating resources
  3. Assisting the teacher with ordering and setting out displays
  4. Setting up equipment and displays
  5. Assisting the teacher with distributing activities to pupils
  6. Inputting data into a computer

Skills required:-

Reliability, punctuality, basic IT skills, photocopying, the ability to lift books and light weight equipment and items.

Who has access to data?

Your information will be shared internally for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes the HR Manager, Principals PA, interview panel members. UAK will not share your data with third parties, unless your application for employment is successful and it makes you an offer of employment.  UAK will not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area.

How does UAK protect data?

UAK takes the security of your data seriously. It has internal policies and controls in place to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by our employees in the proper performance of their duties.

How long do UAK keep recruitment and employment data?

If your application for employment is unsuccessful, UAK will hold your data on file for six months after the end of the relevant recruitment process. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment and for 6 years after your employment ends.
